A young man who died in a tractor crash did so "doing what he loved," his family has said, paying tribute.
Joel Dingle died after a single vehicle crash involving a tractor and trailer near St Austell. The crash occurred on an unclassified road close to St Ewe at around 10.10pm on Friday, September 11.
The road was closed for a time while an examination of the scene was carried out and an investigation is ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.
The 29-year-old, who has now been named as Joel Ethan Dingle, leaves behind his loving family, including his parents Audie and Lorraine, brother Nathan, grandparent Joan and his adored nieces Ella and Lamorna.
An obituary notice shared by Paul Bourton Funeral Directors said a celebration of life will be held at St Stephen Cemetery on Wednesday, September 30, at 3pm.
Joel, of High Street, near St-Stephen-in-Brannel, did not like to wear a suit and tie, so formal funeral attire is not necessary. Those who wish to attend are told to wear what you are comfortable in with work wear or smart casual being fine.
In the funeral notice it was said that Joel died "whilst at work, doing what he loved, at just 29 years old". Dozens of tributes have also poured in for the young man who is described as having "a heart of gold" and was "an amazingly lovely mate". Others described his strong work ethic, saying he was loyal and "always happy to help".

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are investigating a fatal road traffic collision near St Austell and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a tractor and trailer on an unclassified road close to St Ewe, near St Austell, at around 10.10pm on Friday 11 September 2026.
"Emergency Services attended the scene.
"The driver of the tractor, a local man in his 20s, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. "Officers would like to thank members of the public for their patience while the road remained closed while an examination of the scene was carried out.
"It was handed over to highways at around 3.50pm on Saturday 12 September, after vehicle recovery had been completed.
"The circumstances of the collision continue to be investigated.
