A man in his 20s has died after a tractor crash on an unclassified road near St Austell.
Devon and Cornwall Police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash involving a tractor and trailer on an unclassified road close to St Ewe at around 10.10pm on Friday, September 11. The driver, a local man in his 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say emergency services attended, and the man's next of kin have been informed. The road was closed for a time while an examination of the scene was carried out. The incident was handed over to National Highways at around 3.50pm the following day, Saturday 12 September, after the vehicle was recovered.
The force is still investigating the circumstances of the crash and is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
