Love Is Blind UK's Jack Bradshaw has spoken openly about his struggles with alcohol, calling it a "tough" subject to address.
The Perranporth native, who married Faye Domaille on the hit Netflix series, shared a clip from a candid interview on Instagram, telling followers that "the only way anyone can become better is by looking internally at yourself and putting in that work".
His post followed a frank conversation with presenter Will Njobvu, in which Jack admitted he had long relied on drinking to manage stress.
"When I feel stressed I drink more. When I feel very stressed I drink very much and self-destruct. And that is something that over the last year I've been working on massively," he said.
Alongside the reposted clip, Jack wrote a heartfelt message: "I'm sure there's some young men out there who can relate to what I'm saying.
"Thank you @will_njo for asking real questions and opening conversations on genuine topics that might impact people."
He added: "Right now I'm focusing on enjoying my amazing wife and being able to finally show off our relationship to the world after a year in hiding but in the near future I will be taking time to speak on real topics like this and expanding on my own personal experiences."
Jack and Faye were among four couples who left the show as newlyweds. An explosive reunion episode broadcast on Sunday (August 30) confirmed that every successful couple remains together to this day.
The pair have since travelled the world together, visiting everywhere from Australia to Vietnam during their first year of marriage, reports The Mirror.
Their journey to the altar was not without difficulties. From the outset of the experiment, Jack formed strong connections with both Ciara Murphy and his now-wife Faye before ultimately proposing to the latter.
Ciara went on to marry Ajay Cheema, while their co-stars Francesca Emmanuel and Joseph Subuola, as well as Taylor Burgen and Sophie Tregaskiss, also got married.
Love Is Blind UK's most recent series saw 30 single contestants enter the iconic blind dating pods. A record-breaking 14 couples became engaged at the close of the first stage, though viewers only witnessed six of those love stories play out on screen.
