A "serious" crash shut a Devon A-road this afternoon, August 19.
The A35 was closed in both directions between Elsdons Lane and the B3165 after the crash, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.
Inrix reported: "A35 Raymonds Hill in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to serious accident between Elsdons Lane and the B3165."
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.37am on Wednesday 19 August 2026 to reports of a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Elsdons Lane in Monkton Wyld."
The road reopened at around 5pm.
