Police have released CCTV stills of a motorbike rider they want to trace after a crash in Falmouth last month which left a Beryl e-bike rider with serious injuries.
The Beryl e-bike rider, a man in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital after the crash at around 11.15pm on Monday, August 24 on Penmere Hill, Falmouth.
The crash involved a pay-per-ride 'Beryl' e-scooter and an unknown motorbike.
These images were released today by investigators who believe that the rider may have valuable information about the collision.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for the public's help to identify the person and motorcycle pictured in connection with a collision on Penmere Hill, Falmouth.
"Officers were called at approximately 11.15pm on Monday 24 August 2026 following reports of a collision involving a ‘Beryl’ electric scooter.
"As a result of the collision, the male rider of the e-scooter, a local man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries. He was airlifted to hospital for treatment, where he currently remains.
"As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are keen to identify and speak with the rider of a motorcycle who may be able to assist with the investigation.
