A man suffered a facial injury after a reported road rage incident in North Devon yesterday morning, Monday, September 21.
Emergency services were called to South Radworthy, near North Molton, at around 8.45am. Officers arrived to find two parked vehicles facing each other on a narrow country road.
The incident involved a van and a Land Rover Defender, police said. After speaking to those at the scene, officers established that one man had suffered a facial injury. The extent of the injury is not known, but it is not thought he needed hospital treatment.
A man in his 50s from Dorset was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. At the time of reporting, he had been released on police bail while investigations continue.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We were called at 8.45am on Monday 21 September following a reported road rage incident at South Radworthy, near North Molton. A man in his 50s from Dorset was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent."
