Seasonal dog bans across Cornwall were officially lifted on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, giving dog owners unrestricted access to many of the Duchy’s beaches once again. The restrictions, enforced under Cornwall Council’s Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO), ran from May through August, with most beaches limiting dog access daily from 10am to 6pm.

These rules were designed to balance the needs of visitors, residents and protected wildlife areas during the busiest months.
The following beaches no longer have daytime dog bans, as their restrictions ended on August 31.
