Crash Blocks A38 Lane Near Exeter Racecourse

The A38 is flowing again after a crash blocked one lane earlier this afternoon, Saturday, September 5.

Slow traffic was reported near Haldon Hill, close to the Exeter Racecourse junction. Reports of the crash came in just before 3pm. Motorists on the southbound carriageway were warned of slow traffic because the lane was partially blocked.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported: "A38 Southbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident between Haldon Hil (Racecourse Junction) and Marsh Lane (Harcombe Cross)."

The scene was cleared and traffic returned to normal by 4pm. Road cleared and traffic returned to normal, accident cleared on A38 Southbound between Haldon Hil (Racecourse Junction) and Marsh Lane (Harcombe Cross).
