A slip road on the A38 at Lee Mill will stay closed for some time after a lorry overturned. Police were called to the scene on the eastbound slip road just before 2:55pm today, September 22.
The male driver sustained only a minor injury, the force said. The road will remain closed to allow the lorry to be recovered.
Pictures from the scene show the lorry on its side and partly in the trees at the edge of the road.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called just before 2.55pm today, September 22, following a single vehicle collision at Lee Mill.
"A lorry has overturned onto its side on the A38 eastbound slip road.
"The male driver has sustained a minor injury.
"The slip road will be closed for some time for the vehicle to be recovered."
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "A38 Devon Expressway Eastbound entry slip road closed, slow traffic due to overturned lorry at Plymouth Road (Lee Mill)."
