The A30 was partially shut this evening after a car caught fire.
Traffic and travel website Inrix reported that the A30 westbound was partially blocked in the area of Camborne as of 5.14pm. It stated that there was queueing traffic "due to accident from A3047 at Camborne West to the B3301 Carinw Rise interchange at Loggans Moor roundabout".
The closure caused some jams along the alternative route which takes in Roseworthy Hill, Horsepool Road and Turnpike Road. The road had reopened by 9pm.

The A-road has now reopened according to Inrix. It says: "A30 Westbound re-opened, accident cleared from A3047 (Camborne West, Camborne) to B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout, Loggans)."
The A30 remains shut as of 8.30pm, according to Inrix.
Irnix has updated its website stating that the A30 is now "closed" due to the accident. However it has added a confusing caveat that "traffic is coping well".
