A court has heard how a mother shared an intimate video of a man in an attempt to humiliate him and cause distress.
Nichola Goldsworthy admitted to police that she shared the sexually explicit video "as a weapon".
Bodmin Magistrates' Court was told that Goldsworthy, 30, sent the video to a friend of the man out of "anger and spite" between 2021 and 2024 in St Blazey.
Goldsworthy, of Kenwyn Street, Truro, admitted sharing a film of a person in an intimate state with the intention of causing alarm, distress or humiliation.
The court heard the victim suffered significant emotional harm and a loss of dignity as a result.
Will Willden, defending, said Goldsworthy had no previous convictions and described the offence as a "single impulsive act". He added that the video was not broadcast on any platform.
Magistrates handed her a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £111 in costs.
