A total of nine suppliers will be appointed to a Devon resurfacing framework across three lots. The largest is Lot 1, worth £57.6m, with five of the nine suppliers: Cormac Contracting, Glendinning, Kennford Tarmacadam, Tarmac Trading and Taylor Woodrow Infrastructure.
Lots 2 and 3 each have a smaller identical value of £3.6m, although Lot 3 has more suppliers. Quality Marking Services and WJ South West are expected to be appointed to Lot 2, with Colas, Connor Construction (South West) and Holcim UK appointed to Lot 3.
Contracts are not expected to be signed until 26 August at the earliest. Once completed, they are each expected to last for four years from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030.
