A teenage girl has died at a property in Devon. Police are investigating the death in the Burlescombe area.
Paramedics called officers to the property at around 7.15am on Tuesday, August 25, following reports of concern for the girl's welfare. Devon and Cornwall Police said she was tragically pronounced dead a short while later. Her death is not believed to be suspicious, but police enquiries are ongoing.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called by ambulance at 7.15am on Tuesday 25 August following concern for the welfare of a teenage girl at a property in the Burlescombe area. Sadly, the girl was pronounced deceased a short time later. Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of her death, which is not currently being treated as suspicious."
