New data reveals Bude Summerleaze Beach to be in the UK's top-10 underrated beaches, with its sandy shores, dramatic coastal views, and stunning cliffs.
It's also a hub of activity, boasting opportunities for surfing, kayaking, and beach games, making it a hit for families looking to squeeze in the last of the summer sun.

The sandy stretch is located just off the town centre and sits alongside the Bude Sea Pool, which offers visitors additional ways to enjoy the Cornish coast.
The findings come from a national survey conducted by Away Resorts, which analysed search data to pinpoint lesser-known beaches ideal for soaking up the lingering summer rays.

The survey, which gathered responses from 3,000 UK adults, also underscored the growing popularity of seaside breaks, with 52% of respondents favouring coastal destinations for their holiday.
Despite its appeal, Summerleaze Beach attracts fewer visitors than the country's more famous beaches, offering a quieter, more relaxing escape for those in the know.
Elsewhere, Scarista Beach in the Outer Hebrides, Whitepark Bay in Northern Ireland, and Robin Hood's Bay Beach in Yorkshire were also noted as underrated spots.
