Taxi drivers in Cornwall have complained about an influx of Uber drivers from other parts of the country who they say are breaking licensing rules by parking on taxi ranks and plying for trade during the lucrative summer season.
An Uber driver was caught on camera swearing at a Cornwall-based taxi driver, as seen in the video above, after being questioned about operating from out of county and parking on a rank. The Uber driver claimed that "nothing will happen" if the local taxi driver reported him to Cornwall Council.
