The A38 has been reopened following a crash involving a motorhome near Saltash Tunnel on Thursday afternoon, August 13.
At one stage the A38 was closed in both directions between New Road and the Tamar Bridge. Roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix reported the crash at 2.25pm. It resulted in very lengthy jams along the A38, with westbound traffic queueing from the Tamar Bridge all the way back to the Crownhill roundabout.
Inrix reported: "A38 Saltash Tunnel in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident from B3271 New Road to A38 Tamar Bridge."
A female was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
