The A30 was blocked in both directions for hours after a crash on Sunday afternoon, September 19. A car overturned around 12.20pm on the A30 between Honiton and Upottery, with Devon Air Ambulance on the scene.
Traffic monitoring website INRIX reported: "A30 in both directions blocked, queueing traffic due to overturned car between A35 (Honiton) and Sandys Lane (Upottery)."
A diversion was set up on the A35 through Dalwood, Wilmington, Offwell and Honiton just before 2pm. National Highways warned drivers to expect roughly 10 minutes of delays over a one-mile stretch of blocked road.
As of 3.20pm all lanes have now reopened, but there is still heavy traffic on both the north and southbound A30.
