A break-in at a Devon primary school has caused thousands of pounds of damage.
The school near Powederham was broken into at some point during the night of Saturday, August 15 and into the early hours of Sunday, August 16.
Devon and Cornwall Police detectives are investigating after unknown offenders forced their way into Kenton Primary School premises, causing extensive damage.
The force is asking anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen suspicious activity to come forward.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information after Kenton Primary School was broken into and extensive damage was caused inside the building.
"Detectives are continuing to investigate a break-in at the Devon school which is believed to have taken place some time during the night of Saturday 15 August and the early morning of Sunday 16 August.
"Unknown offenders forced their way into the school premises and caused thousands of pounds of damage.
"Anyone who was in the area at those times on 15 and 16 August who may have seen suspicious activity or who has CCTV, doorbell camera, or dash-cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact us via our website hereor by calling 101 quoting reference number 50260217688."
