The Truro Half Marathon is back this month, with hundreds of runners expected to take on the challenging 13.1-mile route through the city and the surrounding area.
The race starts at 9.30am from Lemon Quay on Sunday, September 13. Registration opens at 8am, and the race headquarters will be at Hall for Cornwall.
Organised by Truro Running Club, the event is a long-standing fixture in the city's sporting calendar and attracts runners from across Cornwall and beyond.
The route is almost entirely on road, beginning with a loop of central Truro before heading out towards Porth Kea, Playing Place and Cowlands. Runners can expect a few hills along the way.
