Ison Alli’s Truro Death No Longer Suspicious

The death of a 23-year-old man is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have said. Ison Alli, from Penzance, was found dead in a property in the Polruan Road area of Truro on 29 October 2025.

A 23-year-old man from Truro was arrested on suspicion of murder at the time, but was later released on police bail. Devon and Cornwall Police have now confirmed that the death is no longer being treated as suspicious, and the man has been told there will be no further police action against him.

The force said: "The death of Ison Alli, 23, from Truro in October 2025, is no longer being treated as suspicious. Following extensive inquiries, the investigation has concluded that there was no third-party involvement in Mr Alli's death."

In a tribute, Alli's family previously said he would "forever be our beautiful reason to believe in love that never fades". They added: "Though your time with us was far too short, at 23, you had a heart of gold, showed such kindness, your humour and one-liners will forever be remembered."

A file is now being prepared for the coroner.
