A30 Hayle Bypass Reopens After Two-Vehicle Crash

The A30 has reopened after being closed this morning (Tuesday, August 18) following a two-vehicle crash.

The Hayle Bypass was closed between the St Erth roundabout and the Loggans Road roundabout, and drivers were told to expect long delays. Roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix reported the crash at 11.50am.

Inrix said: "A30 Hayle Bypass in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved between A3074 Nut Lane (St Erth roundabout) and B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout)."

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Emergency services were called to the A30 St Erth, Hayle, today, Tuesday 18 August, at around 11.40am following reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision. No serious injuries have been sustained. A full road closure is in place on the Eastbound St Erth carriageway while recovery work is carried out."
