A 20-year-old man was left with serious injuries after being attacked by a group of at least six males on Cathedral Green in Exeter. The victim was first verbally abused by the group before being punched and kicked in the head. The assault happened on Tuesday, July 4, between 10.45pm and 11.45pm, near The Holt pub. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
