The A39 was closed in both directions in North Devon after a crash this afternoon, Wednesday September 2.
The crash shut the road north of Barnstaple between the turn-off for Upcott and the turn-off for East Down.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported queuing traffic because of the closure. The road was clear by around 3.25pm.
