A handmade guitar has raised £2,500 for Penlee RNLI and Cornwall Air Ambulance. The money will be split equally between the two emergency services.
Kif Wood made the instrument from pale moon ebony and arranged the raffle. Half of the £2,500 went to each cause, with Kerra Jelbert named as the local winner.

The event was held at The Cabin in Perranuthnoe. Mr Wood thanked the venue and everyone who bought tickets. He also praised band Maximum Gain for its performance and guitarist Steve for demonstrating the guitar's internal pickup system.
Coxswain Patch Harvey said: "Donations from guitar auctions are not uncommon now as Kif Wood has previously raised funds for them in this manner." He said the donation would support Penlee's RNLI volunteers in their efforts to save lives at sea. Each service received half the raffle proceeds.
