Falmouth's MP has praised the community spirit shown in the town over recent days. Jayne Kirkham, Labour MP for Truro and Falmouth, said: "Falmouth is a fantastic place for community spirit and we've seen how people have come together."
She added: "We've had all the emergency workers, councillors and the community coming out."
"Everyone you can think of has come out to help, including people who work at the docks because obviously they can't work today, so they came and volunteered as well, which has been brilliant," she said.
