Officials have advised against swimming at Exmouth beach after a pollution incident turned a brook bright blue.
The Environment Agency said it was advising people not to enter the water at Exmouth beach and nearby swimming spots until further notice.
The warning follows an incident at Littleham Brook in the town, where the water turned blue.
An Environment Agency spokesperson said the investigation was continuing and asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
