A man riding an e-bike stabbed another teenager with a zombie knife during a violent street attack in Exeter.
Joshua Long plunged the blade into his victim's leg during a confrontation near the Spar in Newcourt. His younger brother, Samuel Long, was also involved and fired a BB at the victim during the chaos.
The incident prompted a large police response and an appeal for witnesses. The Long brothers appeared together at Exeter Crown Court to be sentenced for their roles in the violence.
The court heard the victim spent three days in hospital and was nearly killed. The blade was left sticking out of his thigh and entered his body just 2mm away from a vital vein,
