A man has suffered a head injury following a two-car crash on a road near Newquay Airport.
Devon and Cornwall Police was called to the scene at Carnanton Road at 7:40am this morning (September 10). Police said one man sustained a head injury as a result of the crash, and recovery of the vehicles involved has been arranged.
According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, the road remained blocked as of around 9:50am. It says: "A3059 in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at Newquay Road."
A force spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.40am on Thursday, September 10 following a report of a two-vehicle collision at Carnanton Road near Cornwall Airport Newquay. The road was blocked as a result. One man has sustained a head injury. Recovery has been arranged."
