Cornwall continues to draw visitors year after year, as it is home to some of the UK's most popular seaside towns. But many may not yet have uncovered what is considered one of the best places to visit in the county.
The Times travel guide has put together the ultimate list of the very best places to visit across Cornwall, and this picture-perfect destination has made the prestigious list.
As locals know, the Roseland peninsula, an unspoilt landscape of serene cliffs, woodlands and beaches, is ideal for exploring on foot. It offers a more scenic day trip or staycation than places like Falmouth or St Ives.
The peninsula is a coastal region of Cornwall, bordered by the Fal Estuary on the west and St Austell Bay to the east. In summer it delivers impressive floral displays, and all year round it offers wonderful spots for walkers and cyclists.
The South West Coastal Path runs directly through the area, making it a great place to stop along the way. One of the more popular stops is the picturesque Portloe Harbour, a tranquil place where you can stop for a drink and take in views that feel like you're the first to discover them.
