A classic car tour celebrating Britain's motoring heritage will finish at the Polurrian Hotel in Mullion this October, marking the end of the inaugural Loxley Collection 500 UK Roman Road Classic Vehicle Tour.
The tour starts on Friday, October 2. Twelve or more pre-1976 classic cars will cover 500 miles along Britain's ancient Roman road network, going through the North Yorkshire Moors, Lincoln, the Cotswolds and Somerset, before a final 155-mile leg into Cornwall.

Local car enthusiasts can welcome the drivers when they arrive at the Polurrian Hotel on October 6 between 3pm and 4pm, and view the classic car display. The drivers and their guests will stay at the hotel, with a specially arranged dinner and live music, plus a 20-mile sightseeing trip around the Lizard Peninsula on Wednesday afternoon, October 7.
