Cornish Pirates have added the final new owner to the consortium in charge of the Champ Rugby club. Adam Brooks, a financial advisor based in Cornwall, has joined the group. He is alongside television presenter Nick Knowles, American investors Kenn Moritz and John H Tippins, and locally based investors Richard Wastnage, Martin Hudson, Phillip Champ and Anthony Whyte.
The club has been expanding its ownership group with the aim of developing the club and eventually playing in the Prem. Brooks said, "I am excited on what the future can bring for the Cornish Pirates and the wider Cornish community." He added, "We are building something very special here in the county and have a great core team behind us, I can't wait to get stuck in."
