Police have reported that two men were arrested following a "large fight" in Truro city centre that left three people injured.
The incident occurred on Calenick Street at around 13:45 BST. Armed officers were sent to the scene after a report that a "bladed article" was used, according to Devon and Cornwall Police.
One man sustained "a potentially serious injury" while two other men received minor injuries, the force said.
A police spokesperson confirmed that two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Investigating officers are asking anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
"Those involved are believed to be known to each other and there is no wider threat to the public," said the police spokesperson.
