Police and fire crews are responding to an incident in St Austell town centre this afternoon. A large emergency services presence has been spotted, with at least four police cars and two fire service vehicles seen there.
The incident appears to be unfolding at the junction of Trinity Street and Truro Road, outside the Sports Direct shop. Photos taken at around 5.30pm on August 30 show the vehicles, and a cordon is in place outside the Wants Cash Centre. A sign in the road declares a 'Fire Incident'.
Devon and Cornwall Police and the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
