Exeter City striker Jayden Wareham has left the club to sign for League One side Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
Wareham joined City from Reading in the summer of 2025 and wore the number nine shirt. He made 56 appearances in red and white, scoring 22 goals in all competitions, with 19 of them in League One.
There had been speculation about his departure all summer. Wycombe made two bids for the striker last week, both of which were rejected. Now the Chairboys have put forward an offer that has been accepted by the Grecians.
Upon the signing, Wanderers' Director of Football Strategy and Data Intelligence Tom Stockwell said: "We are excited to welcome Jayden Wareham to the club. It's been a long road but we are happy to have secured a long-term deal for someone who we see as a complete striker who we can play into, can threaten in behind and is excellent in the box.
"With 19 league goals last season, 22 in all competitions, we see Jayden adding the fire power for us to compete in League One.
"He is a tenacious and hard working player. His competitive edge is a key quality that we wanted to add to the squad. He is relentless with his work from the front and this sets the exact tone that we want to see throughout the team.
