Devon Headlines Gloucester Guildhall for First Time

Forest of Dean musician Devon will headline Gloucester Guildhall for the first time on Saturday, November 7. The show is one of his biggest headline dates to date.

Support comes from China Bears, The Perfect Match and Flora Fiora.

Devon has previously played the venue supporting White Lies and Circa Waves. He also headlined the Blackfriars stage at Gloucester's Underground Festival earlier this year.

His musical journey began with pub and open mic nights around the Forest of Dean and Gloucester. His breakthrough included the indie-pop track I DON'T WANT 2 B UR FRIEND, and his music has received national radio airplay, including on BBC Radio 1.

He has also performed on stadium stages and toured as support with McFly and Anne-Marie.

Devon has spoken about growing up in the Forest and the challenges young musicians face in an area with few opportunities to perform original material. He recalled starting at local open mic nights, where musicians often relied on covers, and expressed hope that more young bands would emerge from the area.

The Guildhall date sees Devon step up from previous support appearances to top the bill. Gloucester Guildhall said the concert would celebrate the South West music scene and described it as one of Devon's largest headline shows so far.

Doors open at 6.15pm on November 7. Tickets are available through the Gloucester Guildhall website.
