A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a car on the A380 near Kingskerswell in the early hours of this morning. The road remains closed northbound.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the road at around 4.30am on Thursday, August 13, following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
The A380 South Devon Highway is closed in both directions between Kingskerswell and Edginswell while emergency services deal with the incident.
The full extent of any injuries has not yet been confirmed.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
Police said emergency services are at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
