A power cut left nearly 1,000 properties across Torbay without power on Friday, September 18. The incident resulted in 836 properties without power. By 10.50am, 343 properties had power restored, but 493 were still cut off. National Grid said all properties had power restored by 11.45am.
A spokesperson for National Grid said: "We became aware of the power cut at 10:16am this morning which impacted 836 properties in your area. We successfully restored power to everyone by 11:45am this morning. Thank you for your patience during this time. We're committed to maintaining reliable power to your community."
It is understood that The Range was closed due to the outage but has since reopened. We will keep you updated with our live blog below. Send us information or pictures if it is safe to do so here.
Power was restored to all properties at 11.45am. However, 97 properties are still without power at this time. 739 properties have had power restored.
