A car flipped onto its roof in a crash in Budleigh Salterton this morning (Friday, September 18). West Hill is blocked in both directions, and a bus became stuck after trying to turn in the road. A replacement bus service has been arranged, and no injuries are thought to have been suffered.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported the incident at 9.20am. It said: "West Hill in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident from Halse Hill to Northview Road."
Exmouth Police said: "We are currently on scene at an RTC with an upside down car. Unfortunatly, a bus has got jammed trying to turn and now also needs recovery as well. Thankfully no one is hurt and replacement bus service has been organised."
Police have asked anyone in the area to send information or pictures if it is safe to do so here. Exmouth Police added: "If you are in the area, and it is safe to do so, please get in contact with us via our social media here."
