Police are warning residents after several houses on the same street in Cornwall were burgled within two weeks.
Paul Kimberley, a St Agnes parish councillor and paramedic, shared an appeal for residents to check any CCTV and report findings to police if anything appeared suspicious.
Three dwelling burglaries were reported in the Kemps Close area of St Agnes within days of one another. The most recent occurred last night, Wednesday, September 16.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed to Mr Kimberley that in each case entry was gained through an open window. Thieves stole personal items and cash from inside each property.
The appeal stated: "Police are asking local residents to be vigilant and take steps to make sure windows and doors are secure at all times. Any suspicious overnight activity should please be reported to police on 999.
"Residents in the area are please asked to check any home CCTV for any suspicious persons and should anyone have any further information please contact Devon and Cornwall police via 101 or the website quoting 50260249215. They can also anonymously contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111

Cllr Kimberley further urged people to ensure their properties are secure if they go out, even for a short period of time.
