A stretch of the A38 in Cornwall was blocked after a crash on Tuesday, September 15. The westbound carriageway was closed between Bodmin Parkway and Turndown Road, with traffic in the opposite direction slowing because of onlookers.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported the crash just after 11am. It said: "A38 Westbound blocked, slow traffic due to accident between Bodmin Parkway (Glynn) and Turfdown Road (Turfdown). Also slowing opposite side due to onlookers. Originally reported in both directions."
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle on the A38 near Glynn, Bodmin, at around 10.45am on Tuesday 15 September. The male rider has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life threatening or life changing."
The motorbike was recovered around 1.15pm, the spokesperson added.
