Police are asking the public to help find a 37-year-old man believed to be in the Looe area.
William Mactavish is wanted over an allegation of stalking involving fear of violence.
Officers have already carried out searches for Mactavish but have now asked the public for information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees him should report the sighting immediately, police said.
Mactavish is described as a white man, about 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with brown hair.
He is known to have links to Cornwall and Avon and Somerset.
Police have warned people not to approach him.
Instead, anyone who spots him should call 999 straight away, quoting reference number 50260233198.
Officers are asking for any information that could help them locate him safely.
