Truro City manager John Askey said new signing Omar Bogle's red card was indefensible and left him disappointed.
The 33-year-old striker was sent off in stoppage time during the 1-1 draw with Walton and Hersham after kicking out at Kleyton Junior. Bogle, who has played more than 300 Football League games for Wigan Athletic, Crewe Alexandra, Charlton Athletic, Cardiff City and Newport County, was making just his fourth appearance for his new club after joining last month.
The Tinners equalised seconds after Bogle's dismissal in a game Askey described as his side's worst of the season so far.
"You can't defend that. It shouldn't happen," Askey said of Bogle's red card to BBC Radio Cornwall.
"We understand that people get frustrated and when somebody's grabbing hold of you the only way to respond to things like that is by keep playing, get hold of the ball, put ball in the back of the net.
"You can't retaliate, so really disappointing and obviously we'll have to deal with that."
