Liskeard Surgery Warns Patients of Staff Shortages

Patients at Rosedean Surgery in Liskeard have been asked to be patient and treat staff with understanding, as the practice warns it is dealing with significant staffing shortages.

The surgery says reduced staffing is affecting its capacity. Patients may face longer waiting times when calling the practice by telephone.

There could also be delays in processing routine administrative requests and paperwork. Availability for routine appointments may be reduced, and some non-urgent services may take longer to complete.

Rosedean Surgery apologised for the disruption and said its priority remains maintaining safe patient care. Urgent clinical needs will be dealt with first.

Patients have been asked to show courtesy and understanding towards staff during what the practice described as a “particularly challenging period”.

Anyone facing a life-threatening emergency should call 999.
