Truro City manager John Askey described his side's 1-1 draw with Walton & Hersham as their worst performance of the season.
The Tinners needed a stoppage-time goal from Ryan Law in the eighth minute of added time to earn a point in their National League South match. The equaliser came shortly after striker Omar Bogle had been sent off for violent conduct.
Walton & Hersham took the lead in the 81st minute when Truro defender Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain scored an own goal.
The result leaves Truro fifth in the table, five points behind leaders Maidstone United, with two games in hand.
"It's very frustrating," Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall. "We talked before the game about doing things right and it was probably our worst performance – we had a lot of the ball, but didn't make enough of it. I thought we were slow in possession, the movement wasn't good enough, and then we got done with a sucker punch. But luckily things that were happening last season, it's probably the opposite this season where we've managed to salvage a point."
