Festive plans are underway in Truro, with the city revealing its first late-night Christmas shopping date for December.
Truro BID has started planning this year's Christmas festivities, giving city centre businesses plenty of time to prepare rotas ahead of the busy season.
The organisation has confirmed four late-night shopping evenings will run in Truro, every Wednesday from December 2 to December 23, with shops encouraged to stay open until 9pm.
To mark the first evening, the Father Christmas Parade, organised by Truro BID and sponsored by Coodes Solicitors, will take place on December 2, bringing festive cheer into the city centre.

Truro BID also funds, installs and maintains the city's Christmas lights, including storage and electricity. The lights will switch on automatically on Saturday, November 21, coinciding with the opening day of the Truro Christmas Market on Lemon Quay and the Boscawen Street Christmas Markets.
