YOUNG and old alike will be jumping for joy in the future after plans were submitted to build a trampoline park in Newquay.

Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL), which runs Waterworld, proposes to construct a trampoline park, including changing areas, toilets and a cafe, on land south of the leisure centre in a bid to enhance its facilities.

The trampoline park is earmarked to be constructed on council-owned green open space, which was formerly a pitch and putt facility.
