David Youlden poet to publish

Local poet David Youlden has had three of his works selected for a book to be released next year.

Asda's Dean to go bald!

Dean Strudwick is having his head shaved for Children in Need - please pop into the store to support him. The shave will take place on Saturday 11th at 11am.

The annual fireworks display held by the Mermaid Inn, in aid of local charities was a huge success.

Wallflowers are donated

Serco gardeners have donated surplus wallflowers to Newquay in Bloom.
Mavis and Reg Warman received the plants from Kim Parish.

Newquay Chrysanthemum Show

Newquay Championship Show held a one of its best ever shows in its 170 year history. Chairman John Harris helped judge the chrysanthemum section and Chrissie laming from the Newquay Voice helped judge the photography section.

Mole Valley Farmers donates stove

Mole Valley Farmers at St Columb Major is supporting the Addlington Fund which provides homes for farming families in need, by donating a stove.
