MacIntyre, the former owner of Scandals nightclub, attempted to impress potential customers with his luxury four-bedroomed seaside home.
MacIntyre was described as living a tycoon lifestyle with fast motorcars, speedboats and exotic properties, the court was told.
Defending, Michael Hubbard QC, said MacIntyre was suffering from multiple sclerosis.
The condition would make his time in prison difficult and painful.
